Birch Variable Depth Cabinet Group

This cabinet grouping was built for GNT Audio Video Systems in Lancaster, PA. It is designed to mimic a home entertainment center, yet allow for multiple equipment and speaker systems to be auditioned. It is built from birch with a painted finish. Raised panel doors are used. Over the equipment areas, pocket door hardware is used, aloowing the doors to open and retract into the case. Wood frame doors with speaker cloth conceal multiple left, right, center, and sub woofer speakers. Four drawers provide storage for disks and tapes. Lighted display areas with glass shelves are above the television. Open bookcases are at each end. The cabinet depths are varied to add interest to the cabinetry. Fluted pilasters are painted with a burgundy accent paint. The crown molding and baseboard all follow the contours of the cabinetry faces.
